Ashley Mahr Flagg founded Soléa Mar Studio as a reflection of her deep love for interior design and the richly varied beauty of the natural world. Over the years, she has cultivated a discerning and elevated design sensibility, underpinned by professional training and hands-on experience. After a successful career in education, Ashley transitioned into the design world, earning her Master of Fine Arts from the renowned New York School of Interior Design. During her academic journey, she gained experience working for luxury residential firms, including one featured on the Architectural Digest’s AD100 list, in both Manhattan and Los Angeles. Inspired by her connections to both coasts and her global travels, Ashley has developed a signature style that blends natural elements with quiet luxury. With every project, she aims to bring a sense of elegance, story-telling, livability, and serenity to her clients’ residential and commercial interiors.
